German Wine Contests
The first edition of the competition was celebrated at 2004 and has become the most important international wine tasting in Germany. It is celebrated at the Best Western Hotel, where a jury of more than 150 international wine experts, who examine and score more than 5,000 wines in each edition.
A competition held in Germany for two weeks, when around 180 industry professionals sample more than 6,000 wines from all corners of the world. This event has been held twice a year since 2014. In August, for the summer tasting and in February, for the spring tasting..
British Wine Contests
A competition held in England for 14 years. It is considered one of the most important events in the European and world wine.
The International Wine and Spirit Competition is a competition which has been held in London for 34 years. This competition is considered one of the most important blind tastings held all over the world. It evaluates the quality of the wine for its fidelity to the style, the region and the harvest.
This event is held in London annually. It was founded in 1969, it welcomes participants from more than 80 countries.
Belgian Wine Contests
It has been celebrated in the capital of Belgium for more than 20 years. Its main objective is to recognize those wines of the highest quality and in all price ranges.
French Wine Contests
Celebrated every year by the Winemakers Union of France. Over 3,500 wines are tasted over five days. A blind tasting carried out by a tribunal of true authorities in enology to world-wide level.
American Wine Contests
It is a score system and evaluation of wines, carried out by the American critic Robert Parker. Its classification picks up on aspects like flavour, aroma and colour amongst other aspects.
Spanish Wine Contests
A guide to Spanish wines, where professional winemakers and critics who make it, taste more than 11,000 wines a year, making Peñín Guide the most consulted and prestigious wine publication in Spain.
The most important wine sector event that is celebrated in Spain. Its organization is run by the Unión Española de Catadores (Spanish Union of Tasters), who bring the the biggest experts in the wine sector to Madrid, for four days.
